Getlabs Expands Mobile Collection to Genova Diagnostics’ Food Sensitivity and GI Panels

The expanded partnership brings in-home collection to ALCAT, Food Antibodies (IgG), Celiac panel, and GI/Celiac SNP genetic testing, reducing a common barrier for patients already managing GI symptoms.
ASHEVILLE, N.C., Oct. 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — For patients navigating food sensitivity, celiac, or other GI-related symptoms, a trip to a lab draw site can be an added burden on top of symptoms they’re already managing. Getlabs, the nationwide leader in mobile phlebotomy, and Genova Diagnostics, a pioneer in specialty laboratory testing, today announced an expansion of their partnership to include in-home collection for Genova’s ALCAT, Food Antibodies (IgG), Celiac panel, and GI/Celiac SNP genetic testing.
The expanded collaboration builds on the companies’ initial partnership around Genova’s NutrEval® assessment, giving healthcare providers a consistent, convenient collection option across a broader portion of Genova’s testing menu. Eligible patients can now schedule a licensed phlebotomist to complete collection for food sensitivity, food antibody, celiac, and GI/Celiac SNP testing at a time and location that fits their schedule, without a separate visit to a patient service center.
“Patients today expect healthcare to meet them where they are,” said Claire Hough, CEO at Getlabs. “We’re excited to have partnered with Genova Diagnostics to make specialty diagnostic testing more convenient and accessible. By bringing professional blood collection directly to patients’ homes, we’re improving access, reducing friction, and helping patients complete testing with greater convenience.”
Unlike a standardized test battery, these panels are built to give practitioners a patient-specific, in-depth read rather than a one-size-fits-all result. ALCAT and Food Antibody (IgG) testing help practitioners identify potential dietary triggers contributing to chronic inflammation, digestive symptoms, and other health concerns, while Genova’s Celiac panel supports accurate diagnosis and monitoring for patients with suspected gluten-related disorders. Genova’s GI and Celiac SNP panels — available via blood draw or buccal swab depending on the specific test — add a genetic layer to this evaluation, identifying inherited markers associated with celiac risk and other GI-related conditions, giving practitioners a fuller picture alongside serology-based testing. Together, these assessments are among the most frequently ordered specialty panels for practitioners managing complex GI and autoimmune presentations.
“Patients navigating food sensitivity or celiac symptoms already have enough to manage — the last thing they need is a barrier between ordering the test and actually completing it,” said Jeff Ledford, CEO at Genova Diagnostics. “This expansion means providers can offer that same inhome option across more of the panels they rely on most, without asking a symptomatic patient to travel for it.”
The expansion reflects rising practitioner demand for streamlined testing logistics, particularly among GI, allergy, and autoimmune-focused practices where patient symptom burden can make traditional lab visits difficult. By removing a common point of friction, Getlabs and Genova aim to help more patients complete the testing their providers recommend. This expanded collection is available to patients through Getlabs’ nationwide network, now spanning 35 states across the country, with continued growth planned.
This expansion follows the companies’ initial collaboration around Genova’s NutrEval® assessment, announced earlier this year, and reflects a continued expansion of mobile collection across Genova’s testing menu, with further additions planned.
Healthcare providers ordering ALCAT, Food Antibody (IgG), Celiac panel, or GI/Celiac SNP testing can direct eligible patients to schedule an at-home collection through Getlabs, allowing patients to complete the process without disrupting their daily routines.
