EP Wealth Advisors (“EP Wealth”), a leading fee-only registered investment adviser, today announced a coordinated series of executive, operating and board appointments designed to broaden the firm’s capabilities while preserving the personal service and local accountability that have defined its growth.
The changes are anchored by the appointment of John McConnell as Chief Financial Officer and the promotion of Erin Voisin to Chief Client Solutions Officer, supported by recent additions across advisor growth, wealth operations, regional leadership, technology, data and governance. Together, these investments are intended to make EP Wealth’s scale more valuable to the people it serves. It gives clients more coordinated access to specialized expertise, provides advisors with better tools and growth support, and creates a stronger platform for partner firms to integrate, grow and serve their clients over the long term.
EP Wealth manages over $50.4 Billion in assets under management (as of August 31, 2026) and now serves more than 25,000 clients representing all 50 states. The firm has more than doubled in size since the end of 2023 and today includes more than 650 employees, 230 advisors and 65 offices nationwide.
“At this stage of our growth, every investment has to answer a simple question: Will it make us better for clients and the people who serve them?” said Ryan Parker, Chairman and CEO of EP Wealth. “These leaders will help us bring more expertise, better tools and stronger support closer to every client relationship, without adding distance between clients and their advisors.”
Strengthening financial discipline and empowered decision-making
McConnell brings more than 20 years of corporate finance and investment experience spanning private equity, insurance technology and high-growth retail technology. Most recently, McConnell served as CFO of Crisp, a fast-growing retail data platform, where he helped scale the finance function through a period of rapid expansion, and multiple acquisitions that broadened the company’s capabilities. At EP Wealth, McConnell will oversee finance and help guide financial planning, resource allocation and acquisition integration as the firm grows organically and through partnerships.
“EP Wealth has the momentum of a growth company and the responsibility that comes with national scale,” McConnell said. “A strong finance organization can help the firm make disciplined investments, integrate partners effectively and build for the long term.”
Creating a more connected client experience
Voisin’s promotion gives one executive responsibility for orchestrating how EP Wealth’s financial planning, tax, estate planning, family office, retirement plan, client service and investment capabilities come together around the client. Her mandate is to make those services easier for advisors to access and more coordinated for clients in every market. Voisin joined EP Wealth approximately a decade ago and has played a central role in developing the firm’s planning-led client experience.
“Clients should not have to navigate our organization to benefit from its full expertise,” Voisin said. “Our goal is to make planning, tax, estate and investment capabilities feel connected and personal at every stage of a client’s financial life, especially in the moments that matter most.”
Building the platform behind the advisor-client relationship
The two C-level appointments are part of a broader investment in the operating platform supporting clients, advisors and partner firms.
Chrissy Quinn joined EP Wealth in July as Managing Director, Client Growth & Partnerships after more than 26 years at BlackRock, most recently as Head of Enterprise RIA. She is developing tools, training and partnerships to help advisors grow through referrals, centers of influence, marketing and custodian relationships, giving existing advisors and new M&A partner firms a more repeatable path to organic growth.
Margaret Jarocki has been promoted to Managing Director, Wealth Operations. Her expanded role unites operational support for EP Wealth’s existing business and newly integrated M&A partner firms, improving consistency in onboarding, integration and advisor and client support.
EP Wealth has also strengthened the local leadership responsible for connecting national resources with individual markets. Mike Lay has been promoted to Divisional Leader for the Midwest, and Doug Ireland has joined as Divisional Leader for Southern California. The firm’s divisional structure keeps leadership and decision-making close to local teams and clients, while allowing feedback to be shared and best practices to be incorporated nationwide.
Together, these roles are intended to ensure that growth produces greater capability and support—not greater organizational complexity.
Using technology to give advisors more time to connect
EP Wealth has expanded its technology and product leadership by adding Kate Middagh as Chief Information Security Officer, Uma Meyyappan as Managing Director of AI & Data, Elena Stebakov as Managing Director of Technology Product and John Adams as Director of Advisor Technology.
The team is building a more secure and integrated technology environment for advisors, employees and clients. EP Wealth is applying AI and automation to meeting transcription, proposal development and client relationship management, with additional work underway in advisor workflows, meeting preparation and tax-related processes. The objective is to reduce administrative work and give advisors more time for planning, growth and client interactions.
Pairing management depth with stronger governance
To match its operating scale with stronger governance and outside perspective, EP Wealth has appointed Troy Stevenson and Doug Ketterer as independent directors to its Board of Managers. Importantly, EP Wealth management retains the majority of the seats on the Board, helping keep the long-term interests of clients at the core of its strategic plans.
Stevenson joins following nearly a decade leading Global Customer Operations at Uber and earlier senior customer experience and strategy roles at eBay and Charles Schwab. His experience building customer-focused organizations at scale will support EP Wealth’s emphasis on service quality and client experience.
Ketterer founded Atria Wealth Solutions in 2017 and served as its CEO and founding partner, building the company into a network supporting approximately 2,400 financial professionals and nearly $100 billion in assets before its acquisition by LPL Financial in 2024. He previously spent 25 years at Morgan Stanley, including leading Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management in the U.S. and serving as Chief Operating Officer of Wealth Management, U.S., at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
Together, they add perspective across client service, wealth management, technology, operations and the responsibilities that accompany significant scale.
“Growth changes what a firm requires, but it should not change what the firm stands for,” Parker said. “By combining exceptional talent, thoughtfully applied technology and a consistent set of values, we can continue to evolve without losing our identity. That is how we intend to serve our next 25,000 clients, create opportunities for our people and help M&A partner firms build an enduring next chapter.”
